I purchased again from MMGP (having bought from them before), after seeing Graham's products previously reviewed online. Eagerly awaiting the products (I bought both the Portofino and Capri shaving soaps and oils). The Portofino oil is not greasy, smells great and for me offers a further level of cushioning. The soap is fantastic, it whips up to an excellent consistency and lathers well on the face. I have tried it twice (once with what can be described as a 'thirsty' brush) and there was easily more that enough for three good passes.

I use a variety of other products from different companies and have had mixed results in the past with different 'premium' brands and yet the consistency of MMGP products is amazing and means I really look forward to my shaves.

I have had other MMGP products and they are all made with love, from a shaving enthusiast who actually gets it! No fancy packaging (although the branding is fun and colourful) and what you see is what you get.

I also like the personal nature of Graham's responses when he send your order, there is always a hand written note, which I find very few retailers send now as an appreciation of your custom. It's not only the product, its the service you get.

I fully recommend these products and would suggest to anyone whether you're new to the world of shaving or experienced to try these products. There are very few truly artisan shaving companies out there now and my research tells me that Graham and MMGP are right up there alongside the best.

I would urge the whole shaving community to support MMGP and spread the word, Although, I would be personally unhappy to see 'out of stock' when looking to rebuy, I would be absolutely made up for Graham. If we don't value companies like this we will lose them.....

What a great shaving experience! The soap is dense and therefore very efficient. It lathers up easily and the lather is thick and luxurious. The scent is very nice - masculine, yet not very aggressive. At the end of the shave you regret it's already over.
